An Annual Music Festival Hosting The Country’s Eminent Classical Music Maestros
The Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Sangeet Mahotsav – an annual musical concert organized by Kalashree Music Academy, Pune with Talkd partaking in this significant journey of Indian Classical Music. Talkd was one of the event partners besides other leading brands such as Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital and P.N. Gadgil & Sons. Strengthening the relationship with Kalashree Music Academy, Talkd continued its support of this gathering of eminent vocalists and musicians, experts in Indian Classical.
The musical festival, organized on the 26th, 27th, and 28th at the Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Auditorium featured vocal performances from maestros such as Pt. Dr. Aviraj Tayde, Pt. Upendra Bhat, Pt. Sudhakar Chavan, and Pt. Shrinivas Joshi. Besides eminent classical experts, the Mahotsav also featured emerging artists such as Abhaysingh Waghchoure, who captivated the audience with his vocals.
At the festival, Pt. Dr. Aviraj Tayde was also recognized for his contribution to classical music with the Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Kalagandharva Award, presented to him by Subhada Mulgund, daughter of Bhimsen Joshi.
Pranali Vichare, Founder and Director at Talkd and an avid follower and advocate of Indian Classical Music, attended this three-day event. She participated not only as an audience but also as a facilitator, felicitating Shri Suyog Subhash Kundalkar, Ms. Aaarti Thakur, Pt. Dr. Aviraj Tayde and Pt. Sudhakar Chavan. Thanking the organizers and the Ustads for their soulful performances, she said, “Like other years, it’s a privilege to be associated with this annual festival celebrating our strong roots in Indian Classical Music.
